Predecessor Legion Build: Stats, Augments, and Combos

Your Predecessor Legion build starts with a quirk: bonus Attack Speed becomes Ability Haste, while his standard rifle fires at a fixed rate. Build around his V1.14 stat thresholds to strengthen your slows, grenade damage, and orbital coverage. Rally Point then gives you the firing window to put that investment to work.

Build Around Legion’s Stat Thresholds

Ballistic Calibration converts every 1% Bonus Attack Speed into 0.75 Ability Haste. Legion also gains specific ability upgrades when his stats reach these thresholds:

Stat thresholdAbility upgrade
100 Physical PowerSaturation Charge’s slow lasts an additional 0.75 seconds.
30 Physical PenetrationOrbital Sanction’s radius increases by 33%.
50 Ability HasteFrag Order deals additional damage equal to 10% of the target’s missing health.
100 Magical PowerRally Point’s health regeneration increases by 50%.

Prioritize Physical Power and Physical Penetration for a damage-focused setup, then use Ability Haste and converted Bonus Attack Speed to work toward Frag Order’s threshold. Physical Power scales Legion’s rifle and damaging abilities, while Physical Penetration has several connections across his kit.

Each point of Physical Penetration increases his rifle’s shot damage by 1.25%. Rally Point’s health regeneration also scales with Physical Penetration, and reaching 30 expands the ultimate’s radius. Check your actual stat totals when shopping so you can account for these upgrades alongside an item’s immediate damage.

Keep the distinction between Physical Power and Bonus Physical Power in mind. The passive’s 100 Physical Power threshold uses Physical Power, while the damage scaling on Legion’s abilities specifies Bonus Physical Power.

Magical Power contributes to Saturation Charge, Frag Order, Orbital Sanction, and Rally Point. Those damaging abilities still deal Physical Damage. Pursue the 100 Magical Power threshold when you specifically want the regeneration upgrade; it affects Rally Point’s healing rather than changing your damage type.

Choose an Augment Around How You Want to Fight

Legion’s three augments change different parts of his kit. Choose yours before planning how you will use your rifle and fortified zones.

Heavy Caliber

Heavy Caliber changes the K-75 Storm Rifle’s firing interval to 0.75 seconds and reduces its magazine from 15 rounds to 6. In exchange, shots deal 440% damage and gain +100 Range.

Use the added range to create more space between yourself and approaching enemies. Aim each shot deliberately: the slower firing pattern puts more of your damage into individual hits.

Rally Point still supplies infinite ammo inside its zone. Place the Standard where you can maintain a clear shot without standing within easy reach of the enemy frontline.

Scorched Earth

Scorched Earth adds Napalm zones to Frag Order and Saturation Charge’s Mine explosions. Orbital Sanction also creates a zone at its location every 0.5 seconds.

Each zone has a 300u radius, lasts 3 seconds, and deals 5 (+6% Bonus Physical Power) Physical Damage every 0.5 seconds.

Place explosives across narrow approaches and retreat paths to make enemies cross damaging ground. Around an objective, cover the entrance opponents need to use rather than scattering your abilities across empty space.

Press The Advantage

Press The Advantage spawns a Standard at a defeated target’s location when you achieve a Takedown. It also replaces Rally Point’s health regeneration with increased fire rate for Legion and increased Attack Speed for allies.

Account for that lost regeneration when committing to an extended fight. After a Takedown, check where the new Standard appeared before advancing; its position follows the defeated target.

Choose Eternals Alongside Your Augment

The V1.14 loadout includes one Hero Augment, one Eternal Major Blessing, and two Eternal Minor Blessings. All 12 Eternals unlock at player level 10.

Review Blessing effects alongside your intended stat thresholds and augment. With Press The Advantage, for example, account for Rally Point’s regeneration being replaced when choosing the rest of your loadout.

Manage Your Magazine and Rally Point

The standard K-75 Storm Rifle fires one round every 0.2 seconds from a 15-round magazine. After Legion stops attacking for 1.25 seconds, ammo regenerates at one round every 0.2 seconds. Emptying the magazine triggers an automatic reload.

Release the trigger between exchanges to let ammunition regenerate. Before committing to sustained fire, check whether Rally Point is available.

Rally Point creates an 8-second zone that grants Legion infinite ammo. Inside it, Legion and allied Heroes receive 8% Movement Speed and health regeneration. The Standard also provides vision and reveals nearby enemy wards.

Place it where you can shoot while your teammates can use its benefits. Avoid planting it so far forward that remaining inside requires absorbing the enemy team’s damage.

The cast makes Legion Unstoppable for 0.5 seconds and knocks back nearby enemies. Time that brief window against incoming crowd control, and use the knockback to create room when an enemy closes in.

Set Up Damage With Saturation Charge and Frag Order

Saturation Charge deploys 10 Cluster Mines when its payload hits the world or when you reactivate it. Mines slow targets by 40% for 1 second, with the additional slow duration unlocked at 100 Physical Power.

Subsequent Mine hits against the same target deal only 25% damage. Spread your placement across a route enemies must cross to use both the slow and the area coverage, rather than counting every Mine as another full-damage hit.

Frag Order uses a 2.2-second fuse. Hold the grenade to shorten the time remaining before detonation, then release it toward your target. It also detonates after 0.2 seconds when it detects an Enemy Unit within 300u.

Use the two abilities together:

  1. Place Saturation Charge across an enemy’s likely escape route.
  2. Throw Frag Order toward the space they need to cross.
  3. At 50 Ability Haste, aim follow-up grenades at wounded targets to use the missing-health damage bonus.

Watch nearby enemy units when aiming Frag Order; its proximity trigger responds to units, including targets other than the Hero you intended to hit.

The explosion displaces Legion upward if he is caught in it. Use that interaction to reposition around terrain, but track the fuse carefully. Holding the grenade for the full 2.2 seconds makes it explode in his hand, and being Stunned or Killed while cooking drops it to the floor.

Place Orbital Sanction Where Enemies Must Fight

Orbital Sanction deploys after its target designator lands, then begins firing following a 0.75-second delay. The beam deals Physical Damage every 0.25 seconds and lasts 6/7.5/9 seconds across its ranks.

It follows the nearest target while prioritizing Heroes. When no targets are within 2000 units, it stays stationary.

Throw the designator into contested space after enemies commit to an approach. Use Saturation Charge to slow movement through that area, then fire from Rally Point while opponents deal with the beam.

Pay attention to which enemy Hero is closest to the beam. Its automatic tracking makes placement part of target selection. At 30 Physical Penetration, use the 33% larger radius to cover more of an objective entrance or a crowded fighting position.

Keep a safe firing angle while the ultimate runs. If enemies leave your fortified zone, reposition with your team instead of chasing solely to stay near the beam.
