What Does Omnivamp Do?
Predecessor omnivamp turns eligible damage into healing, helping you recover health while you keep fighting. It works with basic attacks and abilities that deal physical, magical, or true damage. Its exceptions matter when you build for sustain: cleave does not trigger omnivamp, and area damage receives a healing penalty.
That broad coverage comes with reduced scaling. Having more ways to trigger healing does not mean every hit returns the same amount of health, especially when your damage comes from area effects.
Separate damage type from damage source when evaluating this stat. Physical, magical, and true describe the damage you deal; basic attacks, abilities, and cleave describe how you deliver it. Omnivamp covers all three damage types, but cleave is excluded and area damage receives a healing penalty.

Omnivamp vs. Lifesteal and Magical Lifesteal
These healing stats differ in which attacks qualify. The name “Magical Lifesteal” is particularly easy to misread: it works with physical ability damage, too.

| Healing stat | Eligible damage | Key restriction |
|---|---|---|
| Lifesteal | Basic attack damage | Abilities do not trigger it, including physical abilities |
| Magical Lifesteal | Ability damage, including physical and magical damage | Ability-based healing rather than basic attack healing |
| Omnivamp | Physical, magical, and true damage from eligible attacks and abilities | Cleave is excluded; scaling is reduced |
Every hero can use basic attacks, so every hero can benefit from lifesteal. How much value you get depends on how heavily you use those attacks and how much damage they deal.
Match your healing stat to your damage sources. For a physical ability rotation, include Magical Lifesteal in your comparison. For a rotation that combines abilities and basic attacks, consider omnivamp’s broader coverage.
How Healing Is Calculated
Healing uses damage dealt after mitigation. The damage an enemy actually takes supplies the base for the healing calculation.

This matters against defenses: a larger damage value before mitigation does not automatically produce a larger health return. Evaluate sustain using the damage that gets through.
Two additional rules affect lifesteal effects:
- Damage over time: Damage instances retain 100% of the lifesteal-effect value.
- Area-of-effect damage: Healing receives a 0.33 multiplier.
The 100% rule for damage over time does not mean you heal for all the damage dealt. It means the lifesteal effect retains its full value for those damage instances.
Likewise, the 0.33 area multiplier applies to the healing calculation. It does not mean an area ability restores a fixed share of its damage as health regardless of your healing stat.
Account for that multiplier before relying on an area ability to recover health. Keep cleave separate from other area damage: its omnivamp contribution is excluded entirely.
Items and Crests With Omnivamp
The following items and crests provide omnivamp:

- Bloodletter
- Brutallax
- Champion Crest
- Gravitum
- Iceskorn Talons
- Judgement
- Lucky Feather
- Magnify
- Mutilator
- Nightfall
- Rapture
- Warrior Crest
Use this list to identify omnivamp options, then match your selection to the attacks and abilities you regularly land. Count eligible basic attacks and ability damage toward your expected healing, apply the area penalty where relevant, and leave cleave out of the calculation.
When sustain feels lower than expected, examine those damage sources before adding another healing item. An ability-heavy rotation will not gain ability healing from ordinary lifesteal, while a cleave-heavy damage total can overstate how much damage contributes to omnivamp.
